It is when I realize that I am spending all my time on research and studying, I look out of the window.. and wonder how would it feel to have all the time in the world again, how would it feel to relax, how would it feel just to enjoy.. Am I missing out on all what can be fun!!? At times like this, when I desperately need a break, when I need to go back and taste the sweetness of not worrying about time, not worrying about deadlines, group meetings, finals.. the answer would be simple and clear.. YES, I AM!

Employees Objective of the week..

This is the first time when I feel sad because my boss is leaving. The news was extremely shocking and unexpected! She was not only the one who interviewed and employed me .. but she was someone who made me believe that working here is fun even when it is about reconciliations and even when it’s about dealing with scary, too complicated, humongous amount of data.

So she was not only the financial manager, but someone who’s fun- and usually you don’t get to see both in one person.

I have never imagined being this sad when a manager leaves. But I am! It’s like a solid base is no longer there.. and I don’t like all the new things that will be planned for the coming months accordingly, precisely after her departure.

yeah.. it is scary! the more I think about it.. the worse I feel. Why does it always have to be like this, great professionals are the ones who normally leave when everyone around is laid back .. not the other way around!

… It is the feeling of cool wet grass while walking to work every morning. It is a truly refreshing thing and the best feeling in the world.. and this is a confession made by a non-morning person!

Which also reminds me of the -not so cute- anti-thong (flip flop) sign that was hanging on the door the other day.. it was a real nightmare! How can they have it when no one wears anything else.. It’s crazy! i thought it was some kind of silly joke or something.. but it turned out that they’re banned ONLY in laboratories.. It made more sense since no one would really give it any importance otherwise!!

Ever since I started my first semester and I was facing this real dilemma. Im still not sure about what should I go for! Im doing my Masters of Business but I haven’t still made up my mind whether I should go for a single (Marketing or HR) major, or have a combination of both but ending up with no major.

I have taken a course in Marketing, and not only completed it with a distinction but I really enjoyed it too! The only thing that scares me with the single major kinda thing is that I don’t want to be stuck and have to work in one field. I keep getting those ‘what if’ scenarios that drive me crazy and add to my confusion! What if i don’t like working in Marketing.. or what if I find HR boring!!

so can anyone especially those who -WORK (and not study, cause there’s a huge difference between the two) in Marketing or HR-, HELP, please!!
